About US

We are the Cliff Notes of the internet. We find the coolest stuff (we think so anyway) the stuff that makes our lives more interesting, more fun, healthier, more social, and more beautiful!  We like to do things ourselves, we like to save money, we like to be healthy for ourselves and our children, and we like to share.  We especially love when people share with us!  Our hope is that people will come to this page to find and share the things that make daily life interesting. So check out the stuff we like, and share the stuff you like!  We encourage you to comment, and engage conversation in order to make this a real community!

I’m Dave, I am the father of 2 adventurous boys and a dog in upstate New York. We love outdoor adventures, camping, biking, cooking, exploring, and trying new things. My wife and I love to bring new experiences to our kids, but let’s face it, the economy is tough right now. We have come to rely on deals and discounts we find on the internet, and the discoveries of our friends. We love to share our discoveries, and we love when our people share with us!

Hi, I’m Melissa. I have an adorable little boy, an amazing husband, and 2 lazy chihuahuas. Our family is active and loves to travel, cook & experience new things all the time! I can spend hours researching any and everything online not only for our family but for friends as well, and it’s exciting to find great deals!  I’ll share with you, and you share with me!

Daily Living Brief is a blog written and edited by us,  Dave and Melissa., This blog exists as a free resource dedicated to sharing interesting products and ideas. We want you to know that is,  and will always be,  our number one priority!  We do,  however,  earn compensation through our blog. There are a number of costs associated with running it,  including spending a good bit of our day researching and posting products and ideas….so we feel it’s only reasonable for us to accept compensation. We may do this in a variety of ways including affiliate links,  banner ads,  giveaways and sponsored posts.  With this in mind however we want you to know that we would never post something for the sole purpose of earning money.  If it does not benefit you,  the reader,  in some way,  it doesn’t get posted on our blog. Many paid opportunities that come our way are turned down simply because they don’t resonate with us and we don’t feel they benefit you.  All views and opinions are our own.  Any product claim,  statistic,  quote or other representation about a product,  idea or service should be verified with the manufacturer or the company. Let us know if you have any questions!
